Our client is a secondaries business experiencing rapid growth. As a heavy consumer of data, the firm needed stronger infrastructure to support decision-making. This led to a project to design and build a centralised data warehouse. Not only did they require a CTO, but also a senior data analyst to critically support this new venture.

Key requirements

This was the firm’s first dedicated Head of Technology hire. The role required someone with the seniority to engage credibly with the leadership team, while also being comfortable working at a granular, functional level when needed.

Constraints or sensitivities

This person had to have a strong knowledge of the industry and how it is evolving. The client required a progressive outlook, with experience deploying AI technologies. They wanted the successful candidate to be working closely with business leaders to understand where they can create practical advantage.
