Client / Mandate complexity

The positions required highly technical investment professionals to deliver robust due diligence and transaction support to the investment team. The hires were unique at their level given the successful candidates were required to be able to build complex financial models from scratch, as well as hold their own with the senior leadership teams across each firm and external third parties.

Key requirements

The successful candidate needed to possess the advanced technical and analytical skills required to run sophisticated sensitivity metrics, identify underlying financial risks, and translate technical data into comprehensive, strategic presentations for the executive board.

Constraints or sensitivities

The mandate presented significant geographic and talent pool constraints, as the local talent market is heavily saturated with real estate professionals rather than the specialised infrastructure investment skill set they were seeking. Furthermore, because the direct reporting line was based in London, the candidate required the maturity—at just five years of experience—to operate autonomously and hold their own with senior internal and external stakeholders.
